We collect as little as we can, use it for the thing you sent it for, and bin it when we're done. The rest of this page says the same thing in legal language.
When you send us a brief through the form on this site, we collect the information you put in it. Your name, the company you work for, what you want to build, your timeline, your budget, and how you heard about us. If you email us directly, we collect whatever you choose to send.
We also collect basic analytics about how the site is used. Pages visited, rough country-level location, the kind of device you're on. We do not collect anything that identifies you personally through analytics.
We use form submissions to reply to your enquiry. That is the only thing we use them for. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not pass your details to anyone outside MarkD Limited, and we do not use the information to train AI models.
If you become a client, we use your contact details to run the engagement. Invoices, project comms, file delivery. We keep those records for as long as we're required to under UK accounting and tax law.
We use a single privacy-respecting analytics tool. It does not set advertising cookies and does not follow you across sites. The cookies we set are limited to those strictly necessary for the site to function, plus an anonymous analytics cookie you can opt out of.
If we add any third-party embeds in the future, we'll list them here and ask for your consent before they load.
Briefs that don't turn into engagements are deleted within twelve months. Client records are kept for seven years after the engagement ends, in line with UK tax and accounting obligations. Analytics data is aggregated and held for no longer than is useful, typically twenty-four months.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, to ask us to delete it, and to ask us to stop using it. Email the address below and we'll respond within a working day.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk if you think we've handled your data badly. We'd rather you spoke to us first so we can fix it.
For any privacy question, email hello@punchdigital.co.uk and put "Privacy" in the subject line. Our nominated data contact is [TBD]. Postal address: [TBD].
